My daily dose of wearable art:) I may have a slight obsession with these fun little pieces of art work. My mission is to always be on the hunt for these little treasures. They add an element of fun and sparkle and can complete an outfit for the day. Life needs a little sparkle now and then and this is a fun way for me to do that. These particular pieces are a great addition to my always growing collection. The detail that is put into each little piece is fascinating. The textures and colours are so unique to each that its hard to find two that are identical.

  1. Lovely...and lots of fun when put all together! Wearable art could be a topic for an art unit teens would enjoy collecting images of clothes and jewelry, maybe even tatoos, that give the person who wears them a distinctive style. A culminating activity might be to design a piece of jewelry or an outfit. Did you know that Johnny Depp's Mom was a costume designer and he was inspired by her work to put together much of his own pirate costume, especially the beads in his hair, for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies?
